Certified ScrumMaster® Training

This Certified ScrumMaster® training course is a two-day interactive experience that provides learners with an understanding of Agile principles. Learners will become a Certified ScrumMaster® upon completing this two day course and an online exam (time may be allotted at the conclusion of the course to complete the exam).

Miljan Bajic, CST, CEC, MBA, PMP, is recognized as an expert in Agile and Scrum and is one of roughly 90 Certified Enterprise Coaches in the world. As a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), mentor, facilitator, and consultant, he’s supported many organizations in their Agile and Lean transformation journeys.

Miljan lives and works in Sacramento.

Additionally, he has taught Agile Leadership and Process Improvement at University of Southern Maine and Organizational Change at University of Southern New Hampshire. Miljan is also a frequent speaker having participated in many international conferences and Agile events in Europe and United States.

Sherman Gomberg founded Scrum Adventures as an opportunity to enrich others. Sherman has over 25 years of experience with SCRUM, AGILE and PROJECT MANAGEMENT while providing COACHING and CONSULTING services for various industries. Sherman is CSM, A-CSM, CSPO, CSD, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, ICP-ACC, Training from the BACK of the Room, PMP certified, and holds a BS in Computer Science. He is passionate about training those so they can help others.

  • Story Points - estimate with fun

  • Working Agreement - disruptive self-organized groups

  • Definition of Done - yes, it’s shippable

  • Sprint Planning - making team commitment

  • Sprint Backlog - working the team commitment

  • Sprint Burndown - how are we doing

  • Daily Scrum - sharing commitments and impediments

  • Sprint Review - show off / demonstration

  • Retrospective - making improvements

  • Product Shipment - it’s all about the product

Prerequisite

It is beneficial to have some knowledge about Scrum and it is expected for you to have read the “Scrum Guide” on www.scrumguides.org prior to class.

Certification

In order to certify you will have to conduct an online test.
